Real of course!! However, I have a fake tree at my house. The first year that I was single I had a real tree......first and last time for that!
Fake, of course. That way you can leave it up from Halloween until Easter.
I like the idea of a real tree, but since I've been single, a fake is so much less work. I like to put it up Thanksgiving weekend so we're not rushed.

Real, real, real on everything! I love the smell, the look and even the needles that fall and are stepped on till the umpteenth of September the next year. a tradition I hope to never change.
