Sorry for the long gap.
I finally finished that long book, World Without End by Ken Follet last night at 12:30. I have several observations to share, but first, I have to catch up on everything that went by the wayside while I was reading.

So,I'll tell you my Urban Word of the Day: Choreplay. Can you guess what it is?

Hmmm... can it mean you're more willing to be "in the mood" if your significant other actually does the dishes without your asking?

BTW, I have a short, sweet followup/antidote to your Ken Follett book: Robert Fulghum's What on Earth Have I Done? If you're familiar with All I Need to Know I Learned in Kindergarten you'll know what I mean. I'm happy to lend you our copy when hubby is done with it.

Its kinda funny you picked that word. The other night hubby asked if I wanted help cleanning the bathroom. While we were in there we were laughing and giggling when the oldest son walked out of his room and heard us. He covered his eyes and said yuck. I said we are just cleaning the bathroom and he said "so thats what your calling it now".

Ah, to take the time to be swept away from life by a book...
My grandmother wouldn't read much because she would never leave a book alone when she started reading it which would result in not getting her alotted jobs done for that day (she always had quite a list). Such a shame. She wasn't built for fun, though. Glad I didn't take after her.

Hehe, just me guessed what I was going to guess on the urban word of the day.. Something not very enjoyable to suffer thru to receive something very enjoyable. Most likely a man came up with this one....

I cannot make an appropriate comment about choreplay.

you guys all crack me up!

Greeny, I know what your Grandma means, but I have to cave in sometimes. All work and no play..., ya know? But I'll still borrow jm's book. I have a little withdrawal feeling.

What's up Anne, used up your double entendres on my attic post? Was that whizzing sound John letting them go by? Maybe you guys should clean some showers, if you know what I mean.

And yes Mark, there is lots to do over here.
(Good thing my mom didn't read this!)

So how was the book on a scale of 1 to 10?

Oh, I am reading. Be careful what you say and don't do anything I wouldn't approve of.!
